What causes a clock to stop?

A clock mechanism needs oil to work properly. Over time, clock oil dries out, and this begins to cause a lot of problems for your clock. The gears start to wear down the plate they ride on, making it harder and harder for the clock to transmit power through the gears. The clock literally starts to destroy itself.

At Clock Dock we analyze your mechanism for wear and tear, we restore or replace any broken parts.

We disassemble and clean the mechanism from any dirty oil, bush any worn pivot holes in the plates re-aligning all the gears correctly. The mechanism is then put back together, oiled and greased, bringing your clock back to life.

We put a lot of effort into bringing satisfaction to our customers, that's why we test all mechanisms thoroughly before returning them to their home.
